As we move into the cooler months, we\u2019re looking back and highlighting the efforts made during Q1 to keep the Glosderry City Improvement District a safe and clean place to live, work and visit. At this time, we also start preparing for winter with all the necessary maintenance to public space, and we ask you to take care of your property and business by doing the same. Lastly, we offer our safety tips for your wheelie bin, which can become a security hazard, especially as our daylight hours decrease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking back at Q1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Quarter One 2024, we focused on maintaining a safe environment through our security initiatives, which include ensuring bin-pickers and loiterers are monitored and dealt with.  Additionally, the Glosderry City Improvement District\u2019s cleanliness was a priority, with our cleaning services ensuring a well-maintained space through initiatives such as emptying public bins on time and cleaning public gutters when needed. In a stunning development, the once mundane and lacklustre Garfield Parking lot has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of a dedicated team, the unassuming parking area has been elevated to new heights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the onset of March, a dynamic duo – affectionately known as the Mes and Green Team – took charge. Their mission? To breath life into the neglected Garfield Parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s what they achieved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Straightening Poles<\/strong>: The Team meticulously straightened poles that had long stood askew, ensuring a uniform and professional appearance.
Grass-Cutting<\/strong>: Armed with determination and lawnmowers, they tackled overgrown grass patches. The result? A pristine, well-manicured landscape.
Leaf Removal:<\/strong> The fallen leaves were no match for the team\u2019s dedication. They swept away the debris, revealing the true potential of Garfield Parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In summary, Garfield Parking has shed its former self, emerging as a beacon of urban renewal. It\u2019s a testament to community pride and collective vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
